Participating Businesses and Discount Terms

South Kitsap Chamber of Commerce – Shop Local Discount Card Terms & Conditions

By purchasing, receiving, or using a South Kitsap Chamber of Commerce “Shop Local Card” (the “Card”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Issuer and Program Overview

• The Card is issued by the South Kitsap Chamber of Commerce (“Chamber”).

• The Card is intended as a promotional tool to support local businesses and encourage shopping within South Kitsap.

• Participating merchants are independent businesses; the Chamber is not responsible for the products, services, or experiences provided by any merchant.

2. Card Usage

• Card must be present to receive discount at participating merchants.

• The Card may be used only at participating merchants listed on the Chamber’s website or promotional materials.

• The Card is not redeemable for cash and cannot be applied to accounts or combined with other discounts unless a merchant allows it.

• Merchants may impose limitations or exclusions at their discretion.

3. Expiration and Fees

• Cards are valid until 12/31/2026.

• The Chamber reserves the right to discontinue the program at any time; however, valid Cards will remain honored until the expiration date.

• Lost or stolen Cards will not be replaced.

4. Liability

• The Chamber is not responsible for any loss, theft, or unauthorized use of a Card.

• The Chamber makes no warranties regarding the quality, availability, or performance of goods or services purchased with the Card.

• Users release the Chamber from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from use of the Card or any transaction with participating merchants.

5. Merchants

• Participation by merchants is voluntary.

• The Chamber is not responsible for merchant errors, refusals, or misrepresentations.

• The Chamber may remove merchants from the program at any time without notice.

6. Card Purchase and Refunds

• Card purchases are final. Refunds, exchanges, or credits are not provided by the Chamber.

• Any disputes regarding transactions must be resolved directly with the merchant.

7. Fraud and Misuse

• The Chamber reserves the right to void or deactivate any Card suspected of fraud, unauthorized use, or violation of these terms.

• Attempts to reproduce, duplicate, or alter the Card are prohibited.

8. Changes to Terms

• The Chamber may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the Chamber’s website. Continued use of the Card constitutes acceptance of any changes.

9. Governing Law

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.
