Whether you’re a seasoned squawker or stepping up to the mic for the very first time, this is your chance to embrace the fun, show off your stage presence, and celebrate one of our community’s most delightfully quirky traditions.

Head down to the Port Orchard Waterfront and enjoy the Port Orchard Farmers Market from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM — shop local, grab a bite, and soak up the waterfront atmosphere.
Seagull Calling Contest Details:

Registration Opens: 9:00 AM (during the Farmers Market)

To keep this beloved tradition fun and family-friendly,
Please review the rules below before taking the stage!

Open to all ages.
- Bribery of both judges and seagulls is allowed (in good fun).

Participants must register prior to competing.

Youth contestants (under 18) must have parent/guardian permission.

Calls may include vocal sounds only (no electronic devices).
-
Simple props and costumes are encouraged.

Performances must remain family-friendly.
-
Good sportsmanship is expected at all times.
Media Release
By participating, contestants agree that photos and videos taken during the event may be used for promotional purposes by the South Kitsap Chamber of Commerce.
